Bingo Party
Our annual Bingo party and dinner attendance was a little light this year with 40 adults and 2 children.
Prior to playing Bingo, everyone enjoyed chicken tenders, rolls and gravy that was provided by the Club and desserts and side dishes members brought to share. Chuck Kinsey and Hancel Brannon conducted the Bingo game with Hancel calling out the numbers and Chuck keeping track of the called numbers. This year we played a version of Chinese Christmas Bingo thought up by Chuck to add a little pizzazz.
When Mark Young yelled “Bingo”, he went up to the Gents table and selected a prize. To his horror, it was a ladies gift that had been put on the wrong table. After chiding Mark for a while, Chuck and Hancel relented and let him put it back on the Ladies table and then he selected a prize from the Gents table. Gloria Kaska could not keep her prize for anything. She lost her beautiful Santa, and her very pretty set of Christmas watering cans. Thank you to Mark and Gloria for being such great sports.
When everyone who brought a gift won at Bingo, we continued to play two more rounds. Two Chevrolet Airplane Banks were won by the Kaskas and Wades. These special banks were donated to the club by the late Dave White.
A special thank you to everyone for pitching in to help set up tables and chairs, cover tables, etc., and help clean up afterwards. The team work was very much appreciated.
